Who Are and Where Did The KGB come from?
After the Russian Revolution, there was a disput for leadership between Lenin's two followers...Stalin and Trotsky...Stalin was the less favored by Russian public, out of fear to lose power, Stalin created the KGB.
Which stands for "Komitet Gosudarstevennoi Bezopasnosti".The KGB only had one job.
To eliminate, threaten, beat down, intimadate, and kill anyone man, women, or child who opposed the will of Stalin.
These people were killed by the KGB. Notice how citizens walk by as if nothing happened.

☼ A private army that used fear to force animals to work
☼ Killed or intimidated any opponent of Napoleon
☼ Another part of Napoleon's strategy to control animals
☼ Acted as bodyguards for Napoleon
☼ Chased Snowball Away, rid Napoleon of competition
☼ Next generation of animals were sided with Napoleon
☼ Dogs use force to help Napoleon maintain power.
KGB
☼ Not really police, but support for Stalin
☼ Used force, often killed entire families for disobedience
☼ Totally loyal, part of Lenin's power, even over army
☼ Acted as bodyguards for Stalin
☼ Killed Trotsky, the only other political leader.
☼ Killed future generations to stop upcoming revolution.
Examples of the KGB in the text "Animal Farm"
"...nine enormous dogs wearing brass-studded collars came bounding into the barn. They dashed straight for Snowball, who only sprang from his place just in time to escape their snapping jaws." (37)
Now the only person in power is Napoleon and no one is to stop him.
"...the nine young dogs forming a semicircle round them, and the pigs sitting behind. The rest of the animals sat facing them in the main body of the barn." (40)
Napoleon and his pigs are in controll now, and if any animal was to think otherwise, then the dogs would be sure to dispose of them.
Now there is fear in the people, to go against Stalin.
And through propaganda the people had been convinced the deeds of the dogs, (KGB) were just.
Examples of the KGB through History
Leon Trotsky, a personal political enemy of Stalin and his most bitter international critic;
Boris Savinkov, Russian revolutionary and terrorist (Trust Operation of the GPU);
Yevhen Konovalets, prominent Ukrainian political and military leader.
